Setting Up Payments with Stripe

Overview

fytkit uses Stripe Connect so you can accept subscription payments from your clients. This guide walks you through connecting your Stripe account, completing onboarding, and setting up your pricing tiers.

Prerequisites

• A fytkit account with onboarding complete.
• A valid bank account or debit card for receiving payouts (you’ll enter this during Stripe onboarding).

1. Connect Stripe

1. In your dashboard, go to Settings → Payments.
2. You’ll see a card titled Accept Client Payments.
3. Click Connect Stripe. You’ll be redirected to Stripe’s onboarding flow.

2. Complete Stripe Onboarding

Stripe will ask you to provide the following information:

• Personal details (name, date of birth, address).
• Business information (type of business, description).
• Bank account or debit card details for receiving payouts.
• Tax information (if required in your country).

Once complete, you’ll be redirected back to fytkit. If you need to stop partway through, you can return later — you’ll see a Continue Setup button with a “Pending” badge.

3. Verify Connection

When onboarding is fully complete, the Payments card will show:

• A green checkmark with Accepting payments confirmation.
• An Open Stripe Dashboard button that takes you to your Stripe account where you can view transactions, manage payouts, and review invoices.

4. Set Up Pricing Tiers

After connecting Stripe, set up your subscription pricing so clients can sign up.

1. Go to Settings → Pricing.
2. Choose your currency from the dropdown (USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, JPY, CHF, or NZD).
3. For each tier, enter a Tier Name (e.g., “Starter”, “Pro”, “Premium”).
4. Set the Monthly Price (e.g., 29.99).
5. Add Features that describe what the tier includes (e.g., “Access to all workouts”, “Monthly check-ins”, “Custom meal plans”).
6. You can add up to 4 tiers. Click the add button to create additional tiers.
7. Click Save when you’re happy with your pricing. If Stripe is connected, your tiers will automatically sync as Stripe products and prices.

5. Managing Your Subscription

To manage your own fytkit platform subscription (separate from client payments):

1. Go to Settings → Subscription.
2. Here you can see your current plan (Starter, Growth, or Scale), billing cycle, and storage usage.
3. Click Manage Billing to open the Stripe customer portal where you can update payment methods, download invoices, or change your plan.
